Thick eyebrows, bright orange lips and healthy glow tan skin

Asian make-up trends summer 2014
I know Lili Choi's work for a long time. She is one of those makeup artists, actually I should rather say "artist", you recognize immediately. Technique, artistic sense, fantasy, these are the three words that better describe, in my opinion, her work. Lili is not just a 'makeup artist', she is also a very well known tattooist (and I LOVE her paintings on skin...). Born in Korea, Lili Choi started make up as First Assistant to Tom Pecheux (4 years), she has been a freelance make up artist for 8 years, working through Artlist Agency in Paris with French, Spanish, German, Korean and Japanese Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Pop, Dazed Confused, Chanel, Lancôme, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Mac Cosmetics, Cacharel and Diesel to name a few. Impressive to say the least.

And it goes on. Lili worked with People like Amanda Seyfried for the last Givenchy Perfume campaign, Bjork, Kate Winslet, Tilda Switon, Carin Roitfeld. In 2012 she collaborated with Cacharel for 'Amor Amor by Lili Choi' limited bottle with her creation tattoo design. http://www.lilichoi.com/

Needless to say we are proud and happy to publish her exclusive interview here on TRENDYSTYLE.ASIA. An interview where Lili will tell us more about the new makeup trends from her vantage point in Paris. Of course we will talk about makeup trends, but also products, and... flawless skin, next season's best 'accessory' for every woman.

Can you tell us which are the makeup trends from the current season (Winter 2013 2014) which in your opinion will continue into the Spring Summer 2014 season?

Natural bright faces with a healthy glow will continue to be the most important trend in makeup also for the Spring Summer 2014 season. Perfect, porcelain skin will also still be very important, together with 'Forever Black Cat eye make up', thick eyebrows and red lips. All these makeup trends we already know from the current season will be strong also for the Spring Summer 2014 season.

Which are the most important new makeup trends you see coming for the Spring Summer 2014 season?

If we talk about brand new trends, then the trendiest color for the lips will be Orange/Burgundy (Berry lips). Thick eyebrows will become even more natural, no tweezers! And then and healthy glow tan skin only on cheeks, chin and forehead.
